Hallo Holger und alle, die Anfragen werden ich beantworten, allerdings mich erst nur zur Stelle melden. Ich habe etliches vorher noch aufzuarbeiten. Ich bin von Sonntag bis Donnerstag nächste Woche in Oldenburg. Heppes haben seit Mitte April jede Woche entweder einen Familiengeburtstag oder einen Tagesausflug gefeiert - und mir fehlt diese Zeit sehr! In der Murhard sind mehrere Personen krank, Frau Köttelwesch offensichtlich für längere Zeit - dort ist Hilfe auch schwer zu bekommen. Ich war gestern in der Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel und erlebte dort eine sehr interessante Führung. Holger wollte noch in Juni Sachen vorbeibringen, meine ich, aber ich habe keine Zeit nachzusuchen nach dem Termin. Ich gehe morgen in die Bibliothek und bin nachmittags zuhause. I have obtained a copy of the birth record for my great-grandmother from the Landeskirchliches Archiv Kassel. She was born in Lützelwig in 1829.
The newsletter (Rundschreiben 158) for Mai 2003 for the Gesellschaft für
Familienkunde in Kurhessen und Waldeck lists new books for the Bibliothek, including Die Einwohner und Ihr Paten der Dörfer Cassdorf und Lützelwig by Gerhard Kling (book 4106).
I am seeking further information on two individuals:
1.. The brother of Anna Elisabeth. He was known as John Haemel after
immigrating to the US and was probably born between 1822 and 1826.
2.. Their father Heinrich, who was listed as John H Hamel on the death record of Anna in the US. I would like to acquire either copies of listings of the Hämel family from the Familienbuch by Gerhard Kling or receive email information on the listings of these two individuals in the Familienbuch for Lützelwig. I would be willing to pay fees if it is possible to mail copies of these pages from the Familienbuch.
If you cannot answer my question, should I contact the Murhardschen Bibliothek der Stadt Kassel or the Universitätsbibliothek Kassel?
