Hello from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. I need help in finding information on my Great Great Grandfather, Johann Eckert who was born in Udenheim,, county Gellhausen, Kurhessen, Germany ,May 22, 1841. He was Lutheran. Do you know of a genealogist in that area that I could contact or who do I write to find out information? My brother and I want to travel to this area summer 2005 to see where the family was located, but I need to find out exact location, parents names, church, etc. Thank you so much for your help or if you can guide me to the right person.
