Our great grand father Henry Dilcher came to England in about 1860. The only information we have on Henry Dilcher's father is that his name was Henry, or Herman, Dilcher and that he was a farmer from the Hesse, or Hessen, area of Germany, and that he died before 1864. We would be grateful if you could advise us if it is possible to research the family history further, and also give us some indication as to how much this would cost.
