-------- Original-Nachricht -------- Betreff: Markgraf Datum: Sat, 7 Apr 2007 11:02:45 -0400 Von: Karen Knight <knightsr@qcol.net> An: <info@gfkw.de> Please help me if poosible, I;m doing my family tree, and my family has register in Borken, a small town in Homberg, in a village of Lembach. I can tell you they were Lutherans. I can give you some names I have found. 1. Philipp Markgraf wife Dorother Lotz 2. Johann Heinrick Markgraf wife Anna Marie Dippoldsmann, he was the one that came to America in 1844, with his wife and children. Their names were Heinrick born in 1829, and Eduard born in 1837. The store I was told that 3 brothers came togather. So they would have to be brothers of Johann Heinrich, his born in 1794 in Borken. Help me with the brothers names. And tell me where they shipped out of for America, and the shipes name if possible. And the story goes that they had a lot of land in Germany and some kind of a title. Tell me everything you can. I hope some day to come to Germany to that town and would like to know everything I can about the family before I come over. Please answer in English if possible. Thank you for any help you can give me. Three ways to spell the last name I know of is A. Markgraf B. Margraff ( the way we spell it) C. Margroff Thanks again.
