I agree completely with everything Rick says. Been talking about the list reader contribution thing for nearly six months now. The ads would only be a bonus but no one anywhere will get rich of any of this. We just don't have the numbers for any big dollars. I would think if we (the club) can get $500/mo in advertising revenue it would be a lot. On the other hand internet stocks are going wild simply because the internet is seen by the world as a new revenue stream for advertising income. In America, for example, the spending public (those with extra disposable income) has a computer and is connected to the internet. That is a fact of life. I have no problem at all with anyone selling data which they have collected to people who may benefit from that work. If they didn't, they wouldn't buy it. And for them to be able to find it they must see some notice of the availability of the data. That's called advertising and it's a normal part of life.
