Dear Jim, thank you for your work - please, find my comments on the Swiss pages below. Dear Arthur, you might be the one who can answer my questions below.
---------- Von: Jim Eggert[SMTP:EggertJ@LL.mit.edu] Gesendet: Freitag, 10. September 1999 23:41 An: webpages-l@genealogy.net Betreff: [webpages-l] Unerreichbare Dateien / Unreachable files
The following files are unreachable by navigation from our home page. They are either not linked to, linked incorrectly, or are only linked to by other pages similarly unreachable from the home page. They are thus not found in the site map, nor are they likely found by the Freefind facility. There are more than 300 such files! ......... /gene/reg/CH/CH2/index.html
I don't know this file - don't even know the subdir (CH2) : as long as I don't know it's purpose, I hesitate to delete it. Anyone any idea ??
/gene/reg/CH/kant/index.html /gene/reg/CH/ver/index.html
These are on purpose : language selection within the subdir; the actual data pages are linked from language specific pages.
/gene/reg/CH/lightning.gif
I use this gif occasionally - not linked only temporarily ;-).
/gene/reg/CH/kant/sghist-d.htm
This one should be deleted - it is an old misplaced copy of .../CH/*ver*/sghist-d.htm : can I just delete it myself on www2 ? Will that work for all mirror sites ?
/gene/reg/CH/montra-m.htm
An old service, not offered any longer : I put up a note about the withdrawal as the page had quite a few links - that was some time ago - I guess it could be deleted as well now.
