thank you for your efforts
You're welcome.
- and I'll follow up "my" pages on your lists 1 and 2. Afterwards, however, all my pages will end up on your list 3 (below) : the reason is that "/gene/reg/CH/" is only true for 3 of the 4 SwissGen servers - not for the fourth - so this was left out on purpose. Your comment would be appreciated.
I don't see that as a problem until and unless we automate our website maintenance. Even then, we could probably make that an exception, because it looks to be a uniform exception. (Here I am talking about website automation when I know full well it will probably not be _me_ who will be doing it, even if it does get done!) And in a separate note:
/gene/reg/CH/CH2/index.html
On which server did you check, Jim ? This subdir (CH2) doesn't seem to exist in Giessen - is it something else I've "inherited" without knowing about it ?
Check again, it is there. ftp://www2.genealogy.net/gene/reg/CH/CH2/ or http://www2.genealogy.net/gene/reg/CH/CH2/index.html Look fast, your browser will redirect. Or press the back button. The only thing in that directory is a redirect page. My guess is that the directory /gene/reg/CH/CH2 and its one file should be deleted, but it may be serving a purpose of which I am unaware.
