Do we want to put this on the German genealogy server with the rest of the form letters? =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu __________________________________ From: kajukenb@aol.com (Kajukenb) Newsgroups: soc.genealogy.german Subject: Corrected form letter to possible relatives Lines: 105 Message-ID: <1998060923295400.TAA02823@ladder01.news.aol.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: ladder01.news.aol.com X-Admin: news@aol.com Date: 09 Jun 1998 23:29:54 GMT Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com Hi to all, Here is a corrected version of my blind letter used for contacting possible relatives in Germany, and an English translaltion of the letter. Please note that you can send only ONE Internation Reply Coupon (IRC) due to government restrictions on foreign money exchange. The IRC is a coupon that allows the receiver to purchase a stamp at their local post office in Gernany. You can get an IRC at your local post office. When addressing the letter, make sure you put the five digit zip code in front of the name of the town. Also, make sure you put a capital D- in front of the zipcode (thie D- is the abbreviation for Deutschland). If you do not know the German zip codes for your town, you can go to the following web address: http://www.uni-frankfurt.de/plz/plzrequest.uk.html Hope this helps you find your lost relatives.
