Re: [webpages-l] Germans to America holdings page
From: Jim Eggert <EggertJ@LL.mit.edu>
I've updated in situ the list of holding libraries for the book series Germans to America. Most of the holding libraries have links now, and all the online public access catalogs that I found for the listed libraries have been consulted. I also added subheadings for US states; this makes the list more readable and the download shorter. (Thanks for this suggestion, Rick!)
Check the results at <http://www.genealogy.com/gene/www/emig/gta-holdings.html> Sorry, Jim, I was just moving another file from the upload directory for edv-verein and moved your gta-holdings.html as well to http://www.genealogy.com/gene/www/emig/gta-holdings.html
in the upload directory is now stil the file dialect.html from 19-Aug-98 - where should this go? Best regards, Dora

My fault, I should have looked for the previous version. I'll fix it. -- =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu

It is an English translation of the file dialekt.html in <http://www.genealogy.com/gene/ghlp/dialekt.html> and should go in <http://www.genealogy.com/gene/ghlp/dialect.html> dialekt.html should be edited to refer to dialect.html. A link really should be added in Regionale Forschung (/gene/reg/regio-d.htm) to dialekt.html, because the latter claims it is in the former's hierarchy. And similarly, a link needs to be added in Regional Research (/gene/reg/regio.htm) to dialect.html. Also, the English tips page (/gene/www/ghlp/tips.html) should point to dialect.html now instead of dialekt.html. That is if you guys think this translation passes muster! -- =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu
