The subject page lists my e-mail at the bottom. Could the author delete this because last October I spoke to Hofrat Mag.Römer and he emphatically requested that "informal" information about the Staatsarchiv NOT be included in Web pages. They are setting up their own site and it would lead to confusion. I agreed. I would be an embarrassment if my name were now associated with this (I think excellent) page. I have also noticed that the GERMAN equivalent points to: http://www.bawue.de/~hanacek/info/wienkr01.htm which no longer exists. Could the link be corrected with the right address (whatever that is) ? I am truly confused. What in the world is wrong with information? Formal or otherwise? Public information "about" anything or anybody does not belong to any one person or agency. By its very nature, such data can be publicised anywhere without restrictions.
