Perhaps we should make a skeleton Kingdom of Prussia page and put the history in it? I would suggest that the history be split, actually. Put everything from the paragraph which has the pope approving the Teutonic Knights onwards into the K. of P. page and put everything earlier than that into a skeleton Holy Roman Empire page?
I have some real reservations about putting so much narrative into the web pages. Much of it, as Richard already noted, is not on topic and some of it a bit off base too. I also don't envision a HRE page except as a brief description over the individual parts in our historical states section. It is probably best if we want to use the 'history' to allow its retrieval as an FTP file under the general help type category. Something like 'Brief History of the Germans and Prussia' or something like that. What difference does the retrieval protocol (ftp vs. http) make? =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu
