Re: [jgk@rosella.apana.org.au: Re: German Genealogy Team]
I asked Jon Kehrer if he were interested in joining our team and adapting his pages for inclusion on our server. His response was that he didn't have the time. So I asked if he would be willing to let us adapt the pages ourselves, with proper attribution. Here is his response. Opinions?
His pages are at <http://rosella.apana.org.au/~jgk/saxon.html>

Jim, I also think, that it would be better, if we created our own skeleton page for Saxony and used some of Jon's links (we are there also listed, under "German Genealogical Society" ;-) ) A link to his Kehrer and Haenel family could be added to our list of private family pages /gene/wg/familyg.html Dora

personally I think we should have societies, archives and church records together in one place as per xland. Every link to another site to pick up an archive address creates potential hassles in getting there. I often have problems getting into hanaceck's pages when I'm already on qrz. There isn't all that much data to duplicate and if we had a Sachsen page we would need to list the local Vereine etc anyway. A link to his site should certainly be on our sachsen page.
