It works again, but I'm not yet content and will try to improve it. It works better with Giessen (from the Giessen mailserver to the Giessen webserver) than it did with Arizona. It doesn't work for all mailers yet, but it works with Microsoft's Outlook and UNIX pine.
I would prefer one upload directory on the main host to several upload directories on the mirrors which need to transfer their contents to the main host (as we had it before).
How would you feel about a limited reverse mirror? i.e. mirroring .../reg/ESE (only) also in the reverse direction? I am just making a suggestion. Rick

Es gibt offenbar Geschwindigkeitsprobleme beim Weg ueber den grossen Teich (die gab es zwar vorher auch schon, aber da haben das nur die Europaer zu spueren bekommen). Ich habe mein altes Skript wieder hervorgekramt und angepasst. Es ist noch in der Testphase und laeuft noch nicht mit allen Mailern. Trotzdem kann man es aber als Alternative zum direkten ftp-connect ausprobieren. Adresse lautet nach wie vor: pages@genealogy.net
