[jgk@rosella.apana.org.au: Re: German Genealogy Team]
I asked Jon Kehrer if he were interested in joining our team and adapting his pages for inclusion on our server. His response was that he didn't have the time. So I asked if he would be willing to let us adapt the pages ourselves, with proper attribution. Here is his response. Opinions? His pages are at <http://rosella.apana.org.au/~jgk/saxon.html> =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu __________________________________________________ Return-Path: <jgk@rosella.apana.org.au> From: "Jon Kehrer" <jgk@rosella.apana.org.au> To: "Jim Eggert" <EggertJ@ll.mit.edu> Subject: Re: German Genealogy Team Date: Wed, 6 Aug 1997 10:46:59 +1000 X-Msmail-Priority: Normal X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: Microsoft Internet Mail 4.70.1155 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Length: 793 Jim, Your suggestion about adapting my pages to your site and its style is interesting. To which are you referring? The only ones I can think of might be the genealogical societies, the church archives and the civil archives etc. In which case, a link to them from a generalised page on your server would probably suffice and my work would not need to be effectively duplicated. My next addition to my pages is planned to be an alphabetical list of all towns and villages in Saxony with their county postcode longitude and latitude. However that's several months away. I'm also trying to squirrel out the archives of the 7th Day Adventists. Then there is the Saxon recipe book I was given and a few of the recipes will probably go up as well. Bye for now, Jon Kehrer Canberra ACT Australia
