      Thanks for the feedback.

In answer to your request, as far as I know, essentially no German
civil records offices (Standesaemter) have web sites.  Many German
towns do have web sites, that often list the phone numbers and
addresses of the Standesaemter, but that's usually as far as it goes.

Dear Sirs;

    I wish to send thanks to you for posting such a helpful web site on =
German genealogical research meatheads. I do have a few problems that =
your site has managed to bring up but can not find a way around it at =
this time. These are not problems that your site has created but have =
brought to my attention.
    Some of my problems is trying to find a contact for German =
Government Historical Archives or Records on the internet. If I could be =
able to find a Government Page that could lead me into locating more =
information directly from the source the better. Your page has provided =
good information that I never had before but now I need to get records =
and information from the town records such as Birth records, Baptismal =
Records, Death Records, and Parents and Siblings information. Here in =
Canada most of our government agencies have a web site, but I can not =
find similar in Germany. If you had a listing by town of web sites for =
government agencies that people can go to, it will aid more people in =
locating more information.
    If you have such a list, it would make it better for me to locate =
some of my wife's ancestors history. You can forward such a list via =
e-mail to me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
