Hello all, A Canada page with some new modifications has recently been uploaded (leider nur auf English, aber die deutsche Version folgt im neuen Jahr). It is at: http://www2.genealogy.net/gene/reg/WELT/canada.html These are the changes I have made from the old page: 1. The links have been updated. One had been defunct. 2. It was suggested a long time ago that I used the term 'mercenaries' incorrectly, so I said either 'auxiliary soldiers' or simply 'Hessians' instead. 3. I smoothed out the writing style in a couple of places and corrected one spacing error. 4. I added a quick explanation of the Holy Roman Empire in the one instance where I use it, since it seems to be a term not often used due to the HRE's political inefficacy by the time large numbers of Germans were emmigrating to North America. However, that is the term that at least Nova Scotian researchers are going to come across, and that is why I kept it. 5. I have added several new links to the 'Misc.' and 'Other Internet Resources' sections. Feedback is most welcome. Jennifer
