Re: [webpages-l] /gene/misc/deg/katzeits.html ?
Thanks, although I still think we are too cavalier about moving or removing existing pages which people may have bookmarked; in this case, the bookmark was by us ourselves. Instead of removing a page we really should put a link to the new location with expiration date and leave it there for 6 months so that people have time to adjust. Anything less tends to be unhelpful to the popularity of our site, even arrogant. Rick At 06:06 PM 11/25/99 +0100, you wrote:

The General Help pages were pointing to it. Please fix up the General Help pages when you move or remove something...
/gene/www/ghlp/tips-d.html had 1 broken link /gene/misc/deg/katzeits.html

Rick, in this directory is only a file degener.html; I can't remember, who removed all the degener files, but it must have been at the time, when somebody in USA represented Degener and put it's catalog in the Web. I think, the address of Degener for "Bestellungen" has also changed - somebody knows this address? Dora
Soweit ich weiss plant degener seinen eigenen Webauftritt. Die URL www.degener-verlag.de gibt's schon, gehoert Manfred Dreiss, ist aber noch nicht mit Leben gefuellt.
