Dear All, SwissGen has now reached a stage at which (IMHO) it could be advertised - so this is the time for last comments ! Have a look at http://www.eye.ch/swissgen/ and check whether you want to make use of this opportunity. I am planning to announce it to soc.genealogy.german and the Switzerland discussion list this weekend. Are there other places (e.g. French, Italian speaking ?) where this could be advertised - better : where YOU could advertise our pages ? I shall be away for most of the time (and therefore likely not available at all for genealogy) until middle of October. After this break I'll try to sort out the mirror procedure to Arizona, Giessen and Kerpen (with minor changes to the pages - like relative instead of some absolute links) : that's why this mail also goes to webpages and genstaff : also your comments would be welcome. Just an explanation for these groups : what used to be <.../gene/reg/CH/schweiz-en.html> will then be (somewhat shortened) <.../gene/reg/CH/intro-e.htm>, and the new <.../gene/reg/CH/schweiz-en.html> will look new to you : this is still the page where you "enter Switzerland" (in English) - in this way all old links/bookmarks to the Swiss pages will still get people to the correct starting page.
