Fred PS Can whoever has an answer respond here? ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- From: "Piotr Gindrich" <piotrgin@sokrates.umcs.lublin.pl> Organization: Marie Curie-Sklodowska University To: fred@k2nesoft.com Date: Tue, 17 Feb 1998 11:54:22 GMT+1 Subject: Surnames that have become extinct Priority: urgent Dear Mr, The surnames which have become extinct should be listed on the WWW pages to illustrate the scale of this problem. As I am not so well familiar with editing WWW pages. I can only use e-mail and WWW browsers but I have no rights to establish for example my own WWW page. It's the question of money. People working at my university as me can only use e-mail or browsers WWW. If one wants to edit his own internet page than he must pay some amount of money to do it. I unfortunetely cannot afford it. So I apply to you to provide me with data bases I can use to communicate my views on the subject. There are lots of sites that offer free web page space. Geocities seems to be popular with genealogists. It doesn't seem to matter where you live, or what your interests are, you can get free space. http://www.geocities.com/ -- =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu
