(My own father's family is from West and East Prussia, with a few Silesians thrown in). I am a member of the Karpatendeutsche Landsmannschaft, get the newsletter & books etc, and have a good general knowledge of the history & geography of the area and its peoples. I'll be on holidays from Febr. 20 to March 7 (in Stuttgart to see my mother, and I will also visit the Landsmannschaft to see whom I can ask for info if needed). After March 8 (time to recover from jetlag), I'm willing to do the Carpathian German page.
