That's right. I had asked Gilbert v.St. if we could post his article on our server, and in doing so, with his permission, I edited it for readability (reordering the text), spelling, terminology, and markup. One should be able to go to the alt.talk.royalty FAQ for the original text I used, and compare that with our nobility page /gene/misc/nobility_faq.html to find all the changes I made. -- =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu

Untendran steht (c) GvS. Koennte es sein, dass Brigitte ihn gefragt hat? Es ist zwar offenbar das gleiche, Brigitte muss es aber noch einmal im Editor gehabt haben, denn im Quelltext oben steht ihre Autorenschaft und ihr benutzter Editor. Das Markup ist etwas anders (<font size=-1> statt <c> und aehnliches) aber mit dem gleichen Effekt. Arthur.Teschler@uni-giessen.de

Ich finde das wahrscheinlich, denn Gilbert hat die URL der Seite in www.worldroots.com in soc.genealogy.german gepostet. Dieses Beispiel stellt in Frage das Vorhaben, das Copyright fuer alle Seiten in www.genealogy.net in die Haende eines neuen Vereins zu setzen. -- =Jim Eggert EggertJ@LL.mit.edu
