My interest is about the "Piwonka" or "Pivonka" [in German-Bohemia] ancestors. I'd been in Calau [Branderburg] and found in the Luteran Church the register of my grand father, Otto Richard Piwonka Richter, born there in 1850 and coming up to Chile, with the"deputy and appotekarie" Carl Andwanter inmigration. My grand grandfather was Ernest Heinrich Piwonka, and in his maried certificate with Amalie Richter is register the name of his father: "Wenzel Piwonka, born in Berlin". Thats all I have looking back. I will appreciative if you can give me some prospects to research backwards in the genealogy of the family, oltherwise in Germany as in Bohemia. On the other hand, I have write the "Complete History of the Piwonka Family in Chile:1852-1990" that I can send you at your request.
