Hi Wolf, It's hard for me to tell for sure the answer to your question. I don't know what the events are like and how well attended. Perhaps the answer might also be influenced by whether the meetings are open to the public. Is there a formal speaker or is it merely an informal meeting? Would a researcher who happens to be in town and is interested in that area, but from another canton, country or continent want to attend the meeting? That might help answer it as well. I think if each person on this alias who knows of an event uses her or his best judgement about whether the event should be listed in the page, it will work the best. Dear Rick,
how much into detail do you want to go ? Some events mentioned there look like smaller local events, the sort of once-a-month gathering of a society. Do you want this sort of data ? If yes - from Swiss societies as well ?
Or would it be better for these type of events to just link to local events pages, where existing - like http://www.eye.ch/swissgen/ver/sgprog-d.htm which should have the next season's data in a few weeks time.

Hi,
If you want to add any events to the page, it's now installed at
http://www.genealogy.com/gene/ghlp/events.html
It is linked in via General Help which is on the main page of course.
