Dear Dora, Thank you! At the time I sent the above message, I did not have some valuable information about the voyage of the ship Marianne in the summer of 1843. Since then I have posted a new website devoted to more than 180 folks who emigrated from Prussia (Bremen / Baltimore) to America. As you know, most formal gathering of information about Germans to America does not start until 1850, so this information is difficult to find.
