I thought you would like to see some feedback on one part of our effort. -- =Jim Eggert <EggertJ@crosswinds.net> ---------- From: Jim Eggert <EggertJ@LL.mit.edu> Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 15:22:18 -0500 (EST) To: EggertJ@crosswinds.net Subject: forwarded message from Herbert J. Rudolph" <103011.3054@compuserve.com> Date: Wednesday, February 16, 2000 2:55 PM To: Jim Eggert <EggertJ@LL.mit.edu> Subject: German Genealogy FAQs Good Afternoon, Jim; By accident, I "stumbled" upon your discourse regarding German genealogy frequently asked questions. I'm a relative novice, researching my German roots (I've been at this now for about 5-6 years), and I have never seen so much useful information packed into just over 28 pages of print! (I've downloaded your "FAQs" to Floopy Disk, and printed them out). Your publication contains questions that I've asked other, more experienced researchers (including LDS FHC volunteers), who didn't have a clue about the answers! I've been asked some of the questions by other novices, and I didn't have the answers, until now. With your permission, since I have the answers on disk now, I will share this information with them. I will await your reply, before doing so. Jim, you have provided me with a world of information, and I will be forever grateful to you. Thank you very much, a thousand times over! Best Regards, Herbert
