Thank you for letting me know this. Which items are you the author of? I'll remove them.
With regards to the specific German genaealogy page which I referenced, I co-authored components of it with several others at the originating site. However I subsequently noted that you had also copied without permission significant portions of German Russian and Russian history from several other sources.
Also, this site is non-profit and educational so it may be covered under the Fair Use Act. However, if you are the author, I understand, being a composer, what it's like to have someone use something of mine without my permission, so I would not think poorly of you if you say, "Remove these items." Let me know.
It appeared to me to be commercial because of the advertising for web page design and lack of a personal email address for contact purposes.
Even people who use material under the provisions of the Fair Use Act must still reference the origin of their material in footnotes, end notes, or bibliographies. None of your pages make reference to the source.
Some of the material about Russia, which I believe may be from the Odessa Pixel site is actual copyrighted by others than the site administrators. They however did obtain permission to post same at their site.
It would have been better for you to provide a link so someone visiting your site could go directly to the source and perhaps find other material of interest to them. At the very least, you should state where the material came from.
I am not going to ask you to remove material but please be fair and change it to reflect the sources.
