Perhaps a useful suggestion? Rick

Dear Webmasters,
I had a terrible time in my attempt to verify the location of the village where my ancestors were born even though their marriage and birth certificates had the information "Posegnick, amt Gerdauen".
Yesterday I stumbled across a great resource which I had passed up because the title is really misleading. I hope that you will list this most helpful series on your sites.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * THE ATLANTIC BRIDGE TO GERMANY, vols 1. to 10 (or 11), Charles M. Hall, Monda Genealogia, Ligo, Salt Lake City, UT, 1995.
Each volume of the series lists the villages in a province, the page & map grid, the Kreis code, State/Duchy (or Alternate Kreis name), Record type or (FHC), and Years. Good maps in each volume. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Now we know that indeed Posegnick is in East Prussia and not Thuringia or elsewhere and know where to write for records.
