Re: [webpages-l] Bremen regional page
Hello, A very nice job! I have some minor notes: perhaps you would consider enclosing the book titles in <i> ... </i> ? You probably don't need to repeat Die Maus under Andere since it is already listed earlier? Did I see a Bibliothek listed under the bibliography section? My suggestion would be to list the Bibliothek only in the Bibliotheken section and if you want to indicate that a book may be found there, place a code, for example, BdS (to represent Bibliothek des Staatsarchivs) after each book citation which can be found there. I ran the page through an HTML validator and http://valsvc.webtechs.com/index.htm and received some errors. You may wish to see whether any of these are serious: line 34: unknown declaration type "A" line 34: end tag for element "A" which is not open line 45: document type does not allow element "P" here line 46: there is no attribute "FACE" line 46: element "FONT" undefined line 49: start tag for "LI" omitted, but its declaration does not permit this line 225: there is no attribute "TARGET" line 246: document type does not allow element "P" here line 251: document type does not allow element "P" here line 276: general entity "uuml." not defined and no default entity line 318: element "U" undefined line 353: element "U" undefined line 369: element "U" undefined line 389: document type does not allow element "HR" here; missing one of "PRE", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 391: document type does not allow element "H3" here; missing one of "A", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 464: document type does not allow element "HR" here; missing one of "PRE", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 467: document type does not allow element "H3" here; missing one of "A", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 481: document type does not allow element "HR" here; missing one of "PRE", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 483: document type does not allow element "H3" here; missing one of "A", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 504: document type does not allow element "HR" here; missing one of "PRE", "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 506: document type does not allow element "ADDRESS" here; missing one of "BLOCKQUOTE", "FORM" start-tag line 512: end tag for "UL" omitted, but its declaration does not permit this line 235: start tag was here regards, Rick At 07:15 AM 11/3/98 +0100, Klaus-Peter Wessel wrote:
Hallo,

Hello,
A very nice job!
Ja wirklich.
I have some minor notes:
Ich würde die Seite aber mehr als Bremer Staatseite arrangieren. Open steht Freistaat Bremen Oder wie es offiziell heißt) und darunter dann verschiedene Teile, die Stadt, Bremerhaven, usw als sub-kategorien. Bremen ist als Freie Hansestadt ein alter Staat und deswegen ja auch eine webpage. Aber unter diesem "Staat" liegt doch die heutige Stadt und ihr Terretorium und das müßte separat behandelt werden.
