Does anyone have an idea what to do with this one; is there anything existing for former german towns now lying in Poland (or other countries)?
I thought this is covered in the FAQ. First of all there is the LDS. If something exists from Poland, they usually have it. Then there is AGOFF's book on East German places and organizations. Writing to a town in Poland is a waste of time. Depending on the area a few churches have data but typically anything that survived the destruction was moved to regional archives in Poland and was later photographed by the LDS or just sits there.
